The vibrations of the machine housing can give valuable early indications of possible technical problems. If the vibration level oscillates or rises in spite of constant loads, that is a clear sign of deterioration in condition.
Our technicians check vibrations in the course of routine maintenance with the help of a portable measuring device, which, with an accelerometer magnetically attached to the surface of the housing, records both the summation values and the frequency spectra of housing vibrations.
