Thermosyphon: Natural circulation without a pump.

Thermosyphon or natural circulation means the circulation of a medium in a circulatory system caused by the differences in density in the medium. This makes pumps and compressors unnecessary, with corresponding positive effects on energy consumption.

So that you can also profit from this increased Thermosyphon efficiency with the Quantum, Cofely Refrigeration equips the air-cooled variant with the Quantum Ecoloop, which works according to this principle. With this addition, even the outstanding efficiency values of the classic Quantum can be improved on – under certain conditions, COP values of over 25 are possible.

Unlike a conventional natural circulation, in which the medium is always liquid, a phase change takes place in the Thermosyphon of the Quantum. Liquid refrigerant evaporates, passing into the condenser and then flowing back into the evaporator as a liquid.
